I have been passionate about photo preservation since 2008, when I joined

Creative Memories as a Creative Memories Advisor specializing in traditional

scrapbooking. In 2015, I joined FOREVER, Inc. as a FOREVER Ambassador

and became a Certified Professional Photo Organizer through The Photo Managers

to help families preserve their memories for generations to come in both digital and

traditional formats.

In 2020, I founded Elegant Photo Solutions, LLC, and in 2023, I became a Certified Privacy Advocate through The Photo Managers. I am continually pursuing additional training and education to strengthen my skills and provide the best possible support for my clients on their preservation journey.

​

My passion for preserving family stories through photographs began in the fourth grade with a homework assignment to document my family lineage for two generations on both sides of my family. That simple assignment sparked not only my own passion, but also my mother’s and grandmother’s dedication to researching our family history. More than 40 years later, my mother and I have collected an extensive archive of family photos and historical records tracing our ancestry back to the 1400s in England and Scotland.

My primary goals are to:

• Help families who are downsizing or inheriting parents’ and grandparents’ photos and documents

• Help individuals move their digital photo collections out of long-term subscription services and into secure, permanent, one-time-payment online storage solutions

• Help businesses and organizations preserve their historical documents and records for future generations

By bringing order to photo and document collections and ensuring they are preserved properly, families can make their memories shareable, accessible, and transferable from one generation to the next. I firmly believe that a family’s photographs tell the story of their lives and legacy. Those stories — along with written and oral histories — deserve to be preserved for future generations. I offer both in-person and long-distance services to meet my clients’ needs.

By working one-on-one with each client, I create customized solutions based on their unique goals, priorities, and budget. Whether you want someone to handle the work for you, work alongside you, or create a step-by-step plan you can complete on your own, I can help you find an approach that works best for your family.

As a professional photo organizer, I not only preserve my own family’s history for future generations, but I also help clients organize and safely store their photos, documents, videos, and other treasured materials in ways that will stand the test of time.

As a Certified Privacy Advocate, I can also help you make informed decisions about your online security by recommending privacy and security settings for social media, online banking, shopping accounts, and other digital platforms. While no system can guarantee complete protection, my goal is to educate and guide you in following online safety and security best practices.

As a Certified Legacy Preservation Specialist, I can help you create meaningful legacy collections that honor and preserve the memories of your loved ones. This may include organizing and curating photo collections or creating custom legacy photo albums designed to be cherished for generations.
